Our Gardening Group meet on the 2nd Friday of each month at 1.30pm at my house. The meeting lasts for approximately two hours depending on the topics being discussed. We currently have 11 members. We discuss things which need to be done in the garden each month and swap tips for successful growing. At the appropriate time of year we cover topics such as growing from seed, lawn management, weed control, taking cuttings, growing fruit and vegetables, using a greenhouse effectively, pruning trees and shrubs etc. We have already had a visit to a garden centre and others are planned for the Spring and Summer. All members have their experiences and gardening problems to share and we hope this group enables us to see gardening as a pleasure, not a chore - if you would like more information or would like to join our happy band of garden enthusiasts, please contact me via email, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
